Red carpet flowing dresses with simple styling and beading and dreamy bridal gowns are the bread-and-butter of this duo’s women's fashion collection — a key reason why Mark Badgley and James Mischka have been hailed by Vogue magazine as one of America’s top 10 designers. In Vogue's article “The Little Black Dress,” of July 1991, Dodie Kazanjian looked to 6 American designers (including Michael Kors, Bill Blass and Donna Karan) for the perfect little black dress, and selected a style by the designer duo, Badgley Mischka.

Badgley and Mischka are best known for bringing a touch of '40s-style Hollywood glamour to modern, well-heeled women from New York to LA. In the past, celebrities such as Teri Hatcher, Sharon Stone, Mary-Kate Olsen have all been ambassadors for the label. Much to the duo’s delight, in late 2004, Badgley and Mischka received a call from the White House, requesting that President Bush’s daughters, Barbara and Jenna Bush, be dressed in the duo's designer gowns, for their father’s forthcoming inaugural ball.

From reinvented classic '20s drop-waisted styles to this season’s ultra-feminine Grecian inspired goddess gowns.
